Description of the rental area

The main aim of the Foundation for Marcevol Priory, responsible for the management of the site, is above all to make the Priory a place for meeting others in a welcoming environment.  For more than 30 years the priory has been sheltering groups.  The Priory is accedited by the French authorities for Youth, Sport and National Education and, over the years, has been equipped with the following:

– 12 rooms with a 40 bed capacity and bathrooms
– Three work rooms including one classroom and one  large room of 130 m²
– One refectory and kitchen

Also available

– The exterior space in front, to the south, with a wonderful vue of Canigou
– The interior courtyard

Groups

Groups have widely ranging origins and interests:

Groups for cultural activities : theatre, dance, music, art, singing
Groups for sporting activities : rambling, mountain biking, martial arts, yoga
School groups : cultural heritage
Seminars : universities, agricultural training courses
Spiritual groups : meditation, Buddhism
Groups for reflection : therapy
Themed encounters : One group follows another throughout the year for various lengths of time from a weekend to three weeks.   The Fondation is always ready to adapt to the needs of a group.

Rooms and dormatories

Capacity for 40 beds (dormatories with two, three or four beds)

Interior courtyard

Giving access to various parts of the priory, sheltered from the wind and excessive heat.

unconsecrated area, available for workshops and presentations after closing hours.
